The mineral springs the whole town was built around, still being bathed in. A few minutes down the road from us, which is the whole reason to stay this side of Daylesford.

A tunnel gold miners cut clean through the spur in the 1870s to send Sailors Creek somewhere else, so they could sluice the bed it left behind. Heritage listed, and a 2.6km loop of about three quarters of an hour. Go after rain, when the water comes through it.
